Guest guest
I have read a lot about neruogenic bladder and chiari, I also have read about pituitary gland problems and chiari. However does anyone know what kind of complications this can have. I saw a urologist today who is concerned that my frequent (almost constant) urination. I found out today that even when I have very little to drink I still have a large urine output and very diluted. The urologist was concerned about the amount of diluted urine. I had no idea that the pituitary gland had anything to do with any of this. Any one that has heard of this or has any info please let me know. Thank You for any help Shauncey
Guest guest
If I remember right, the pituitary gland can become flattened (empty sella syndrome) by CSF pressure fro Chiari. Neurogenic bladder is the result of nerve damage & can cause problems with urination, such as urgency, frequency, leakage, etc. Urodynamics testing helps to determine what is going on. I had this testing done, and my problems were resolved by my extensive spine surgery.
