Guest guest
Now that is adorable, lol Happy Sunday! got a billy jr here! i bought our young sons a kiddie punching bag for christmas... you know the type that you hit or kick and it falls over and bounces back up ready for another hit? blow up plastic with water in the base. it has a cartoon picture of jackie chan on the front who is standing there with his guard up, ready to fight. so our 3.5 year old son was demonstrating his tae-bo skills with 'jackie'.... i was so surprised to see that he has been paying attention while i tried to show him how to do a side kick a while ago... he executes it almost perfectly, but to do rapid kicks he hangs onto the coffee table anyway, the funniest part was that after i commented on how well he was doing his side kicks, he turned to me and proudly said 'I AM BILLY JR' !! ROFLMAO! it was so cute! some day soon i should order him the taebo juniour workout. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada As Deb has said: " Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step. Today I was picking my daughter up from her Nana's (she is 4)..her and Nana had been playing house and I joined in when we got there. She said " Ok, I'm going to go teach class..you stay here with Nana " then she went out into the kitchen and you could hear her saying 'punch, one, two, kick, three, four' and she's in there doing jumping jacks and kicks and punches. It was so cute!
Guest guest
ROFL! it really makes us realize how much our little kids are watching and modelling themselves after us. just like janick said before, we are setting great examples with our exercising.... hopefully we are helping them to become fit adults. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada RE: >you could hear her saying 'punch, one, two, kick, three, > four' and she's in there doing jumping jacks and kicks and punches. > It was so cute! Guest guest
Bev, It's good to be back here...always feels good to come back home. I've been doing great. I'm teaching at a couple of gyms in my area and starting in January, I'll be contracting to teach Tae Bo with two local counties. How have you been doing? Christmas was great and I'm looking forward to a happy and prosperous new year. I wish you (and everyone else here) a SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Do you still have that other doggie that > wandered up to your house a few years back )!!!!!! Nope, that doggie and my bassette hound were just too much. They hated being locked up, they wanted to wander and my neighbors kept complaining. We have friends with a zillion acres of property around their farm, and the doggies went to live over there. We still visit them, but they seem much happier being able to run around!
