Guest guest
Good Morning, Dizz did break his hip and will be having surgery around 2:00 today, Jan 4th. Last I heard he was resting comfortably. There was no word as to if he hit his head or not, but they were gonna do a CT scan just in case. He broke it at his daughters house in Santee, CA. They were visiting there for the holidays. Dizz wanted to help load up the baggage, SIL said one minute he was standing next thing he was lying flat on the concrete floor of her garage. Well I'm off to Phx Childrens Hospital, Bekah is getting Botox injections for her Cerebral Palsy. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. You are all angels to me. Guest guest
Hi Tori I will keep him in prayer. I hope he makes a complete recovery, but realize that that might not happen. It can really be a bad thing for the elderly when they break something and he has LBD on top of it all. I hope the anesthesia was not too hard on him. That can be a problem with LBD persons. Also hope things went well with Becka. Keep us posted. Guest guest
Thoughts and prayers are with him to undergo this surgery, which we know is not a good thing for an LBD patient to have. I hope they will pay attention to the kind of anesthetics to use so he doesn't have that on top of everything else. Guest guest
I pray it all goes well for Dizz. I'm keeping him in my thoughts for a speedy and good recovery. Because of this there is now a foriegn body in his bladder which must be removed by surgical procedure. So he is now back in the hospital awaiting surgery. Again I ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for our beloved Dizz. Thanks to you all, Tori Welcome to LBDcaregivers.

Hugs,, Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine. Update on Dizz Hello my friends, I just got word that something happened with the cath placed in Dizz. No one is certain what happened but they are saying that Dizz pulled out his cath. Because of this there is now a foriegn body in his bladder which must be removed by surgical procedure. So he is now back in the hospital awaiting surgery. Again I ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for our beloved Dizz. Thanks to you all, Tori
