Potasium will be a problem if you take it intravenously, or in an injection, it

is not a problem if you drink it orally, as your system will only be absorbing

strictly what you need!!

If oral potasium was dangenrous, how can you explain taking a lot of orange

juice and not having any problem, or a banana, or Gatorade? All ot these have

huge amounts of postasium and when people take them the only thing that happens

is that your body takes what it needs.

I had terrible migraines and was completely depressed and my tiredness increased

a lot until I started taking potasium, my life changed a lot. My doctor says

that I must be losing potasium due to a hormonal problem as I have many of those

related to my pituitary gland ICP ongoing problems.

I discovered this because all the time I drink a Gatorade I felt much better,

then I ask my doctor if I could drink potasium in pills as taking Gatorade all

day long is not good for the kidneys and he told me this explanation: oral

potassium will do no harm, if you need it your body will take what you need, if

you does not need it your body will take it out, the only dangerous potasium is

the one you get by injection this is the one that could give you sizures if you

do not need it, so doctors prescibed it in an injection when they are completely

sure the patient has low potasium in your blood by a test..

So I started taking potasium on a daily basis a year ago I have tested my

potasium levels before and after taking it, they are completely normal after

taking it, and I feel great, my life changed since I started taking it, and

most important my migraines went down considerably. I do not drink any herbs,

and the medicines with out the permission my doctor.

But must important I am not giving any advice which is not cautiously approved

by my doctor. So what I am saying is that those that have migraines which do not

go away with any other medicine perhaps it is because they have low potasium,

it would be easy to see if you drink a Gatorade and you improve a little, with

Gatorade the migraines will not go away but if you have a problem with potasium

they will improve, this is your pain will disminished, and if ut improves you

should check your potasium levels. Doctors do not usually think in low potassium

as a cause of any brain symptoms. Go to this webpage:

In addition to this everybody who takes Diamox or any other diuretic should

check their potasium levels regularly and also take additional potasium as these

medicines also pulls out potasium from your body.

Ihave to say that I made the experiment of increasing the amount of oranges and

bananas, so I do not have to take potassium pills but it never worked as

potasium pills did, so I take two pills a day.
