Hi guys...I am trying to figure out the email " quote "

system, where it says that " satoristar...writes...

I am using 2mg E...with 5mg Estriol.... "

Ummm??? That's not me!! That's Sammie. Not sure how

that email-excerpt-quote works, 'cept to say, that's

not an excerpt from my email. :)

ANYway...I too am struggling with the possible issue

of the gel going in too fast. And, I am quoting here

from Vliets new T book (although she is here referring

to testosterone gel, not estrogen gel, but would seem

to apply...) " Sublingual troches and alcohol based

gels are often touted as 'best " , but this isn't always

the case. For some women, gels and troches are

absorbed so fast and cause such a rapid rise in blood

levels of testosterone that they feel anxious,

agitated, aggressive, and irritable..... "

(eh, sounds MALE to me...but I digress!!)

" I have seen many women, and even some men, who had

similar reactions to BOTH testosterone OR ESTRADIOL

GELS. You need to be aware that speed of absorption

can be good, or can be quite bad, depending on how

your particular body responds....Generally I prefer

the slower absorption and delivery forms like patches

and creams (for testosterone) THAT ARE DESIGNED TO BE

MORE SLOWLY ABSORBED. " Vliet,Unquote.

For the most part, Vliet still seems to prefer the

patches for estradiol delivery. Gels and sublingual

troches HAVE been shown, in clinical trials, to be

extremely well absorbed, but faster, and will then

wear off in about 4-6 hours - unless you are running a

marathon or testifying in court - in which case you

will burn through ANY delivery system of estradiol

like fire through a field of brush on a dry and windy

day!!!! :)

So, I am anxiously awaiting a phonecall from my

pharmacist who has called the Solvay people, directly,

for me with this question.

Seems like plopping a COUPLE of Vivelle Dot patches on

our bods is still one of the most reliable ways....

Okay let me know about the Estrogel and tummy thing. In the

meantime, I applied 3mg of E cream this morning and that seems to

have done the trick. I haven't had a flash yet all day.

My E level was 54 and that was right after I applied the stuff. So perhaps my REAL E level was much lower!! Why is this happening?? And I'm afraid to put on too much E because my breasts get big and sore!

............., did you ever have a good time???

what were you doing then??? Maybe you have new issues to deal with too.

Thyroid changes, ect......I use alot of E and my breasts hurt when I'm in limbo.

Seems you have to find the right balance of stuff??? But you KNOW your E is low.

Maybe you could wear patches?? Give it a go:)))

The other reason I don't want to apply too much E cream is that I don't want to get to be 400 pounds!! It feels like every meal I eat puts on 10 pounds!!

, again you are talking low E .....my belly is already going away,

more E less of me, LOL.

you may just need a couple of patches on ya, and you'll be good to go:)))

Well the only time I didn't have hot flashes was when i was doing

Wiley, but then I had a host of OTHER problems - the pain, etc. So

no I guess I have to say that for a whole year now, I haven't found

the right balance! But I DO have energy now thanks to taking DHEA

and Co-Q10!

...the weight gain is NOT from estrodial, but from

an inbalanced ratio of E with the other hormones. IF

you are interested in reading about that, I will post

RE: Re: lastest E labs, back to OOE, may try peanut or cocon...

Well if I'm getting hot flashes, that is a SURE way to tell that I need to up my E isn't it? Hi ,Well it is pretty reliable sign for me. I have heard it can be an imbalanceof any hormones. However, since trying one thing only at a time, I have had T and GH, andArmour thyoid give me a hot flash. So in retrospect, because they are all Eantagonists, I was getting a hot flash, due to not enough E first. Soexperimenting more, If I applied a bit more gel, it would stop it in It'stracks. I have figured this out due to the gel going in and out fast. Now I need tofind a more stable E. BTW, I am doing 4 times the amount of E as I wasbefore. I was scared of E too, and always thought it made you fat. Viletsays it reduces appetite. I agree with Vilet now. I just never had enough Eto see how great it was. Now I am hooked! It truly changed my shape into adelicate pear, from a beefy apple. I don't even recognize myself...truly. nne

Charlotte,

What about DHEA?

Are you taking that too? I keep wondering why we can’t take the

precursors, and let the body figure out where it goes.

As far as the E,

I am experimenting. I think I need a patch or oral for more sustained release. The

gel goes in and out too fast for me. I am using 4 -5 pumps per day of that

right now, and could use more I think. Yesterday I took 4 pumps along with 5

bi-est 1.25 caps, and felt great.

..

The P I am

using is minimal but I need some for my adrenals and thyroid support. . I have 50-100mg

P cream for daytime, and 50mg caps that I use at night for better sleep. I don’t

really know If I need it or not. I used to take 200mg sublinguals for 2 weeks a

month. I finally realized due to this group, they were the reason of the breast

tenderness rather than from too much E. So I switched to these milder things,

and have had no breast tenderness at all for 2 months. I also lost a lot of

breast size, and 15 pounds, and the change from apple to pear. And one day last

month I tried one of those sublingual P, and it packed a wallop, so I knew the

new things were giving me far less P than what I have always used. I also had

earlier cycles, and very light short periods. Almost nothing after the first

showing. The months before on more P, I had no period at all many times,

so I am not sure about all of that, just observations.

Yes this is what drives me insane. I'm SURE all of these things are

interfering with my E but I don't get told to take a higher amount

of E either. I wish these doctors would get it right! So what did

E makes you require more thyroid. That doesn't mean you shouldn't use E. It just means you need more thyroid if you use E (up to 25% more).
