Guest guest
swelling is very normal with stills and also some thing that I know many here including my self go threw. fact is parricides ( spelling ) is to put it in simple words swelling of the fluid sack around the hart. I get it in the ankles legs and also in other joints and yes my hands and fingers also. Now also at lest for my self very cold weather will also do it that is turn fingers or toes red and even some times my feet and its about 50 / 50 if they swell or not . So long and short swelling is more or less normal and it can and will affect any part of the body or our organs . it is some thing to keep an eye on but not worry to much about unless it is organ swelling some thing I know my self and others know a it to much about. now if my feet or I should say the balls of my feet would stop swelling and go back to normal then may be they would stop hurting and I could walk again as right now that is hard to do and painful also. hugs The Redneck Marty G. Guest guest
Lee: Please start trimming the excess message parts off of your messages. In other words only leave maybe one or two sentences of the message that you are responding to on the bottom of your response. Otherwise when the Digests go out it makes a lot of excess reading for those that get the Digest form only' If you will notice that as I respond to your message there is no part of your message attached to the bottom of my response but that is because that is the way I have my e-mail set up. Just delete most of it and you will be ok? Thank You, " WE WILL WIN " Love Ya'll! Guest guest
Hi my name is and you said that you stoped taking the prednisone and what I know of the experience of myself and the members of the group you cant stop taking the prednisone at once you have to et of slowly. As for myself I was feeling good and I stopped taking the prednisone and I started to have pain and swelling as well. And as soon I started taking my prednisone again I started to feel good.I hope this helps you. Swelling Question Hello All, I've been doing pretty well. Even though somehow I managed to run out of my Prednisone and haven't taken it since last Sunday night. Mass confusion between the Nurse and the Pharmacy but anyways. My fevers are much bettor I'm running within the normal range. Anyways, Last night I was out and my finger tips were hurting and so was my hand. I looked at my finger tips and right below the fingernail wherever I was hurting each one was red swollen and the swelling was weird...When I looked at it further and was checking it out. The finger tip that hurt the worst the swelling almost looked like welt or blister except the skin was thick it wasn't a bubble of this skin with water under it. A person may of even thought I had burned my finger tips there but I hadn't even cooked for the last 2 days. Plus there is a joint there that is right below the finger nail. Anyone ever had this happen to them? I did take pictures. I'll attach the worse one. I know I don't have the greate
Guest guest
I am trying to trim as I go. Sometimes I forget I have a lot on my plate and worrying about trimming messages when I am trying to write a quick response I forget. I have never done a digest thing before so I do apologize. Once again though how come the bottom of the message matters if you explain that to me perhaps I would remember bettor. For me on my mail I cannot even see the attached info and I cant see when I press respond I.E. which is why I forget to trim that which i cannot see. aka Jalee One in a Million
Guest guest
Im taking 10 as well but when I start feeling eachy face or eyes I take 15 and then it makes me feel good.Just try to rest the most you can until Monday when you start taking your medication again dont over do it.And we are here to post our experience and that way help others I have learn alot here inside the group not with my doctor so Im really thankfull with the group.Take care Re: Swelling Question Thanks , Unfortunately I will have to wait until Monday before I can begin taking my prednisone again. It's been tough to get to my pharmacy with Thanksgiving and a Snow Storm before that now it's the weekend...lolI was only on 10mg to begin with. I was thinking I guess if my fevers were doing bettor that I wasn't being adversely affected by stopping, but I think you are right. I think part of me just wants so badly to stop taking it partly because I'm concerned for my liver and partly because I know that I can't have it forever anyways. I am also taking Plaquenil it's probably been a month now I was hoping cuz the fevers were done the Plaquenil was starting to take effect. aka Jalee One in a Million
