Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to hear you’re in more pain lately. I too have more pain now in the damper periods but it doesn’t necessarily have to be winter. It never affected my Still’s as to the overall course of the disease but I’ve found that especially over the years it does affect the damaged joints or flared arthritic joints with the damp weather. Hope you can warm up and feel better. I’m sure our members in Europe feel it more with the extra fog and such. Wishes for better days, From: Subject: Flares - what do you do? Over here in England, UK I notice I often flare when Winter suddenly comes in - it'll start lashing it down (raining hard) and over the years noticed a pattern emerge.. Guest guest
, While I am newly diagnosed I do believe I have had probably since the age of 4 and then it came back and became AOSD in the last 3 yrs I am 25. I to noticed a pattern of still's symptoms that I had at the time thought to be illnesses they seem to come around in the winter months for me as well. I live in North Dakota, US very very cold winters here. Among the coldest in the country! I think may be right as far as if you do have arthritis that will feel worse with the colder weather. I supposedly have no arthritic damage but I get the fevers & rash as well. Feels like an allergy type of sickness but very severs usually occurs b/w Dec. & Mar. for me. So it maybe b/c of the Still's in some people. aka Jalee One in a Million ________________________________ To: Stillsdisease Sent: Mon, November 22, 2010 3:11:14 PM Subject: Weather and Still's Hi , Sorry to hear you’re in more pain lately.
