Guest guest
Hey everybody hope all is well. I just wanted to give an update. I saw a GI today to address the new antibody that popped up out of nowhere AMA M2. That combined with a Ultrasound that showed Fatty Liver is going to get me a Liver Biopsy next Wednesday. (oh yeah) I was told it's about 50/50 whether Still's has caused the liver damage or if the AMA caused the liver damage and then the onset of my Still's. Since we were discussing Fatty Liver I wanted to say what my Dr. said. When told you may have a fatty liver on Ultrasound it means that it is most likely fatty liver however they cannot tell the difference between Fat in the Liver and Cirrhosis of the liver. One must have a biopsy. My doctors is concerned because I have none of the risk factors of Fatty Liver Disease. So cirrhosis can be suspected. However it is most likely not severe as Prednisone knocked my liver enzymes back to normal . Cirrhosis is irreversible so let's hope it is just Fatty Liver. Also Fatty Liver is the precursor to cirrhosis. I asked my Doctor which outcome I should hope for PBC or Still's related damage and he said it's not the time to discuss that. And that fatty liver or cirrhosis isn't a good thing. I just figured I would share what happened. .....And the wait continues..... aka Jalee One in a Million
