Greetings DragonSlayers

It's been quite awhile since my last post, but it seems life just gets in the

way.

I had my bsmt apt flooded twice in August while the owners were away. While I

was preparing for the Conference I was sitting in a swamp....dehumidifers going

24/7 and the heat of the very warm weather making life awful.

I boarded Jake out for a few days, or he'd have been a very wet " swamp thang " !

As we always say, we're sorry you had to seek us out, but glad that we're here

for the newbies,AND the old timers, who's wealth of knowledge informs and

uplifts

us.

We're a motley assortment of characters, but together we give

Support~Hope~Encouragement~Acceptance~Empowerment

and that my friends is a great deal while tangling with the Dragon.So, the

Conference went, I think very well. We got to meet some new people..and the

Canadian contingent was wonderful to see.

With our flights ( , Lulu and I, we'd been up since 2am, so Sunday night we

kind of crashed and burned. I wanted to talk some more, but I couldn't keep my

eyes open.

During the Conference people opened up about their issues ( we used Elly's

patriotic cane for a " talking stick " )

and I personally felt connected to all of you. We've had doctors and other

medical professionals, and they've been good, but nothing beats sharing our

truths with each other. To our new members and old at the Conference I applaud

you, and thank you for attending!

For some it was their first Conference, and you helped to make it wonderful.

To our Mailing List...Holy Cow, there have been so many newbies, I have been

hard pressed to keep up with y'all, but Marty and Larry have been diligent in

welcoming the new comers ( thanks guys)! 's been in there too greeting and

uplifting people. Thanks .

Well, my swamp was no fun to come home to, but slowly they are getting their

poop in a group. I have new carpet and underlay in the bedroom, and the landlord

shampoo'd the living room with one of those rental rug cleaners.....not

good...it was swampy yet again. Gotta watch for mold and mildew now LOL

So, to everyone, newbies...welcome old timers, thanks for holding down the fort

for us while we re-charged our batteries.
