New Member - Crohn's Disease

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to the group and new to DMSO, but am loving it so far. I have had

crohn's for the last 25 years now. About a week and a half ago, I ran across

Gregg's website and decided this was something I needed to try. I

remember running across his site years ago, but did not believe something so

simple let alone applied topically would do anything for this nasty disease. In

recent years, I've tried several other natural substances that have worked well

for my gut but this DMSO stuff is ridiculous! One week ago to the day, I was in

the midst of a flare up with lots of urgency and blood in every stool. 2 days

after starting DMSO, the bleeding was gone. 2 more days, no more mucous in the

stool. Now at only one week in, my bowel movements are starting to normalize

and the urgency is mostly gone! Like I said, ridiculous!!

I started out with liquid DMSO 99.9% applying it 3x per day on my abdomen. That

was a mistake. After a few days of this, the skin got quite irritated and is

still flaking off. I've since been rotating application sites, and am finding

that it matters not where I apply the DMSO. I've also switched to a 70% DMSO

30% aloe gel as well, which seems to help and is much less messy to apply.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd give a shout out and say hello to the group. Looking

forward to learning more about this wonderful stuff, and am excited to see how

my condition progresses.
