HI,

I read every so often to get infor that could be helpfu. In case anyone reads

what i write, i am a mom, with seven children, whom are pretty much grown up,

ages, 19, 22, 23, 26, 30, 32, my oldest jennifer would be 34, but she is one we

lost in dec, 2000 to a situation involving chiari. After which we slowlely

discovered the rest have it in varients along with other issues, and myself. I

have been rasing them alone for the last 14 yrs and since i didnt hear of

chiari, i have no idea about their father, haveing it but, he has had severe

migraines for many yrs, his mom had parkinsons disesase.

My mom was diagnosed with rumatoid arthritis and osterprosis, about 25 yrs ago

and has had a long difficult battle, but is actually at home again after a fall

that i did not think she would recover from.

My brother is 49 and broke his foot about four yrs ago which wouldn't heal for

at least a yr, then they found he has severe osterprosis. About a month ago my

brother was in the hospital with virial mengitis. He was sent home in a week

with a double dose of oxicotton or oxicodine, not sure which, but he was on it

for the last several yrs and also on a drug he had to inject, but forgot the

name, but he was already taken off that one last yr.

He had been taking naperson for a heart condition, due to he had a heart attack

at age 39. He has has a stent since that time.

Going back to when he was released from the hospital with a double dose of pain

meds and an inbetween dose, he went into septic shock phunemonia the next

morning after asperiating into his lungs during the night.

He was taken to the er, ventalied and with kidney failure, because he also has

malfunctiong adreaneal glands. Right before they were going to put him on

dilalaisis, his kidneys begin to function. This all happened while in the er.

He was on ventalitaion for four or so days. I went to see him and he had a lot

of movement and i tried to talk to him and rub his bac and arms and legs. The

next morning he has pulled the ventilator off of himself and breathing on his

own. Today he is somewhat better, but his adreanal glands are not function

correctly and the drs dont know what is going on.

He is in fresno calif and i am not familiar with drs there.

He is weak, and in pain and went bac on the oxicodone or whatever that one is,

and i think that, that med is what is causeing some of his problems.

In rare cases the naperson can cause severe osterprosis. I think it did that to

him.

I think meds cause many problems we are now seeing, along with enviroment, life

style, and diets.

I could go on and on, with more issues. Regardling the drs, there is so much

contradiction, misinformation, or not given information, things ignored not

adressed or not told to patients. I pretty much cannot deal with this stuff much

more or will not be able to enjoy any life, so i get reports and follow up,

advocate when ever needed, which is most of the time!

Just courious, has anyone heard of a dilated venous varix in an adreanl gland?

I have this noted on my recent  abdomonal ct i had done.

Thanks,

Joyce ca
