Feeling blue at holiday time?

Hello to all. I haven't posted in a long time. But I've been reading recently

about many churches throughout the country who are holding " Blue Christmas

Services " for those who are dealing with heartbreak and difficulty, and who

actually feel worse experiencing all the messages of " good cheer " of the December

season. These services acknowledge that people sometimes just don't feel like

celebrating if they're grieving, hurting, even despairing.

Our LBDA blog has a new entry by Ginnie Burkholder called " Hurting and the

Holidays. " To read it, just go to www.lewybodydementia.org, and click on

" blog. " At the moment, hers is the first entry on our list. Ginnie and Barbara

Hutchinson have both written many wonderful entries for our blog.

Hugs to all,

Florrie Munat

MAN! I never heard of such a thing and of course when I read this - I

was thinking that it was something I would be interested in -- and then

when I did a google search I find there was a service in Boston... last

night... grrr.... Oh well... THANKS for the suggestion.
