Guest guest
My 15 yr old has been through a mess the last few years! I guess we can start at the beginning. She was diagnosed in 2006 with mild Chiari, EDS, tethered cord and was detethered in 2006. In 2008 still no better we were told it was Psuedotumor Cerebri/Idopathic Intercranial Hypertension. She had 7 shunts till September of 2010 when the last one was removed permanently. They said she outgrew it! The headaches unfortunately didn't leave with the shunt. She has had so much testing and no answers. She has 2 spinal taps that were normal and CINE MRI all normal! We have the drs working on an appt at Shands but does anyone have any ideas? She is in soooo much pain!
