Guest guest
Thanks for linking this Powerpoint presentation on Vitamin D. I just watched it and it was very interesting. I have been taking 4000 IU of Vitamin D for the last couple of weeks, since reading about it on here. My severe 2-months-long bronchitis is almost gone now, though that might be a coincidence. I plan to keep taking the 4000 IU in November through April and drop to 2000 IU during the other 6 months. Apparently it is much more effective for bones than drugs like Fosamax. After reading about the dangers of the bone drugs, I would never, ever take those. ---Rosette > > Just want to mention this as I misunderstook the powerpoint that was > put up awhile ago on vit D. Guest guest
Rosette and Lynn, I have also had a persistent cough for a month, and taking vit D at 4000 IU for the last 10 days has made it better as well! I am so glad I read this site-- yep, learned about it here. Jesarosette_ohara wrote: Thanks for linking this Powerpoint presentation on Vitamin D. I just watched it and it was very interesting. I was dreading having to go to a doctor about this, as I got a price of $1500 for a CT scan of my lungs and another $2500 for a bronchoscopy at the hospital. It's horrible not to have health insurance! I've really been helped by this site, too. ----Rosette
Guest guest
-> Thanks for posting this, as it makes me think the Vitamin D really did > stop my bronchitis. I was dreading having to go to a doctor about this, ----> do a google search on vit D and lungs. All kinds of stuff come up. There's a new traditionally fermented cod liver oil out. I've been experimenting with it and it absorbs really nicely. Smells like hell but on my skin in 20 minutes it's gone! I get absolutely NO belching so I'm sure it's really absorbing in. I know the owner of the company that's carrying it... Wetzel. He's done the research on how cod liver oil was traditionally made and contracted with a Norwiegan company to duplicate it. It's not on their website yet ( I bought a bottle at the weston price conference last weekend) but should be soon. I think it's a really worthwhile investment even though it's expensive. If you've never seen these articles they're worth the read if you have some time over this holiday.... http://www.westonaprice.org/basicnutrition/cod-liver-oil-menu.html and http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online & aid=469543 Lynn
