Guest guest
Did the doctor do a PT? Is it possible you could be pregnant? I had an ectopic pregnancy and had very similar symptoms. I did an at-home urine test which came back positive but the next day at the doctor's office, their test was negative. Only a blood test through the doctor's office confirmed a pregnancy. Could you be going through menopause? Do you consume any diet drinks sweetened artificially? Diet Coke/Pepsi wreaked havoc on my entire system. Sorry, I can't be of more help. ~Kelli
Guest guest
You betchya I've felt that way. In fact, when explaining symptoms to some, I say "it's like being pregnant, only magnified". lol If this was an unusual menstrual cycle, you could be pregnant. Also, being sick could throw your ovulation and cycle off. Being sick can also trigger more MS symptoms. For me, bladder spasms come and I feel the need to urinate often. And it is very much like those early or final stages of pregnancy. In fact, reading this, I bet that's exactly why I was awake last night and have been to the bathroom so much the last couple days. I've just begun a new cycle, so I know it's not pregnancy nor is it ovulation. I bet it's this cold. I've felt the exhaustion, the queasy stomach, etc., etc. and it hasn't been pregnancy. I used to ONLY experience some things when pregnant, so can relate completely. <g> Watch it and test. Have a blood test done, if you prefer. ) Hugs, Challis Lately I have been having weird female related symptoms. I don't what to think of it right now.In January I went to the dr because I thought I had a urinary tract infection. They did a urine test and confirmed that in fact I did have an infection. I was prescribed anti biotics. Which I took as prescribed until they were done. Then I started to feel VERY pregnant. I was feeling queasy every day for about 2 weeks, I was tired all the time (But with MS what else is new), I had to go to the bathroom more often and I was rather constipated (not normal at all) and my period was about a week and half late which has only ever happened 5 times in the past (and all of those times I was definately pregnant!)I made an appointment for the doctor because of those symptoms and because the other kidney was now hurting and I wasnt sure that the urinary infection was gone. However the day before the appointment I started to get my period. But I still had the kidney pain so he did a urine test (didnt get the results back right away tho) and in the mean time he gave me ANOTHER anti biotic. My period was NOT normal at all. I only had it for like 4 days (which is VERY abnormal) and it was light for the first 2 days and then I was gushing for the 3rd day and then the 4th day it was gone. I'm not sure what to make of that.Anyway, now I am feeling pregnant again, I am getting heartburn at night, still tired alot and have to pee alot. I am also still feeling pain in my kidneys. I am not sure what is going on with me!Anyone else feel this way?Christie
Guest guest
Perimenapause starts, for some, as early as 30. <g> I hope you find out for sure, because that uncertainty is not groovy. Hugs, Challis Pregnancy IS a possibility. I am only 30 so not likelythat menopause is the problem! I dont drink any dietdrinks or eat anything labeled diet. Thanks for the help tho!Christie
Guest guest
I'm so sorry you had to experience that, Kelli. This is a good point, too... the OTC tests, or dipsticks at the doctor's often can't pick up the ectopic pgs. Challis --- kelligirl710@... wrote: > Did the doctor do a PT? Guest guest
Christie, I have not read what others have written yet but the beginnings of menopause usually start 20 years after your monthly starts and since i started at 10 years 10 months of age that would mean by the time I was 30 years 10months old menopause started. It was about that age that I had to have a hysterectomy so I was never sure. But there is a 20 year rule that seems to be the norm. just a little tit bit to pass along good luck oh yes you might try white grapefruit juice for bladder and kidney problems I used to drink 2 cans in less than 2 days and most of the time it cleared up . let us know what you find out and remember we will be praying for you. Guest guest
Challis If you son's arm swells the cast may be too tight and need to be redone. That happened to my friend. Elevation of the arm might help. I can imagine how active a youngster is. Good Luck. A hormone panel blood test should give you information on what is happening with your body. Good luck with your Dr visit MJ
