I have been glancing at the posts, usually every day. Many thanks for

keeping my family in your thoughts. Mum seems to be comfortable, sleeping a

lot. I know she is seeing things at times because she will look over my

shoulder as if she is watching a story unfold in the corner of the room.

No agitation and she no longer seems to get as frustrated when she speaks

and makes no sense. My uncle (her big brother) flew in from Calgary last

week and spent the day with her at the hospital. It was good that he was

able to come and say goodbye.

My sisters and I are all having difficulty preparing for Christmas. We plan

on spending it together as we realize that all of us may have to re-arrange

plans at short notice. The one good thing is that there are no small

children at the moment in our families (youngest is 18) so they all are old

enough to understand why Christmas will not be the usual joyous celebration

this year that it should be.

Much love and so glad you seem to be recovering from the flu.

Dear

I will be thinking and praying for you and your

family. This is the toughest part, what lies ahead,

none of us knows for sure. I will be praying for a

peace for all your family members and especially for

your mom. It is so heartbreaking to read your story.

Many have traveled down this road before and many of

us will do it soon. Just know that so many understand

and care for you.

Peace to your family
