Guest guest
went to have my eyes checked and of course I mention the chiari and I mentioned about the shooting pains in my eyes and the headaches that I get and how my vision destorts. she checked the back of my eyes and thankfully there was no damage, she explained to me about the pressure that we get with the headaches in back of the head and that horrible headache changes the vision because of the pressure from the headaches. it can destort make the vision come in and out and even make things blurry or double vision. also the shooting pains in the eyes are caused from the nerves in the head or from lack of secretionsthe bad news is it can permanently change or damage our eyes (the chiari as well as in my case the ms) so far for me so good not that its easy loosing your vision with these headaches temporarily but at least I found information from an eye drin massachusetts. hope this info helps others any other chiari patients from ma who wants the information of the dr let me know.I have not been decompressed I can't because of other medical issues , I do not have a shunthuggs to all !Haley theres always tomorrow
