Leg weekness/leg dragging...feels like leg is detached

Hi everyone!

I know that people have the leg drops and stuff. I had them before I had my

surgery in 2007, where I would just be standing or take a few steps and suddenly

I would be on my butt - I would just fall to the ground (leg gave out on me) and

this has happened many times on the steps. I hurt myself pretty good one time

when it happened going down the steps.

Anyway, since my symptoms are getting worse (due to the cerebellar ptosis (brain

slump) as I recently found out that is the reason for my worsening symptoms. I

haven't fell yet but it is getting harder to walk about even in the house or in

the grocery store or down the block and back. My leg has been feeling as though

it is dragging (only my primary doc understands but doesn't know why & Dr.Di who

I didn't get much time with)

but since my visit to Dr. Di, it keeps getting worse. I can't hardly walk. I am

developing a limp somewhat. See it is almost like when I had my drop attacks,

but yet, it is almost like my leg is dragging or it is very very weak. It is a

limp leg. I feel like I need to pick it up. I hope this makes sense. I can't

think of a better way to put it at the moment (head pain going on). What could

be causing this? Could it be related to the Chiari/Brain Slump/ or something

else? Does anyone know what I am trying to say about the feeling I am getting

with my leg? It is my left leg. I guess I could add it is like my leg is just

attached by a thread or screw and that it could come off or it is loose...sounds

weird but again I don't know how else to explain it right now.

Thanks so much,
