Anyone have a Neurostimulator? please!!! ;-)

Hello All,

It has been a long time since Iv posted, and I THINK I may have already asked

this befor, but I can remember what was said. So Im sorry if this is the same

old thing, but I soooo need some info.

My pain Doctor wants to do a neurostimulator to help with the pain. I just would

like to know if anyone has had a neurostimulator put in, and what kind of

results have you had? I am concerned that this will be worth the risk, and not

being able to have MRI's. I also worry that it will make things worse.

I have had very bad pain for a few years, and the pain medication isnt covering

all the pain. I am taking Morphine CR 30mg, 3 times a day, and Dilaudid 8 mg for

breakthrew pain. usually 3 doses a day, and Soma 350 mg 2 times a day. So

needless to say I want off some of the meds. I dont like taking so much

medication, but I have 2 children that need me, and in NO way have I been able

to be there for them, and am in bed always, So the Neurostimulator seems like

the right choice, but I just want to hear any pros and cons you have found? Any

info would be greatly sppretiated. Thank you all so much!!!!
