Guest guest
Hi... Thanks everyone for your wonderful support!! I had an ultrasound of my Thyroid this morning and rather than waiting until 4/1 for my next appt., I called this morning and made one for next Thursday. The Dr. should have the ultrasound results and my bloodwork and we can discuss it all, in addition to how poorly I'm feeling. I have a wonderful, supportive Chiropractor who has been closely working with me for this and other conditions. He suggested I take some Adrenal support and gave me " Adrenal Lyophilized Gland Concentrate " consisting of: Corticoids - 708 mcg./ Catecholamines - 198 mcg./ Total Globulins 32 mcg./ DHEA 60 mcg. Does any of that mean anything to anyone?? Do you think this is OK for me to take?? He wants me to start with one a day for 3 days and then two a day. Thanks gang - Onward and Upwards - Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional!!
Guest guest
.. First, I just love your tag line! hehehehe I'm new to Adrenal supplements (started in November with a supplement that I'm getting through Nutri-Meds) and I'm self dosing.. I'd really appreciate you keeping us updated on your progress with the supplements.. I've found that with what I'm taking that if I take too much I get really wired, anxiety attacks, palps.. etc... I'm now taking just a quarter tablet every third day.. it's helping to keep my mood up and my desire to do things.. without giving me that weird 'buzz'.... Guest guest
Hi , DHEA is important IMO but the amount you have is miniscule. I have been dealing with low adrenals--need more progesterone, DHEA, testosterone (these are all made by adrenals as a back up to ovaries). You can drink licorice tea to increase cortisol levels. Be sure to get enough thyroid meds. Gracia Hi... Thanks everyone for your wonderful support!!
