Guest guest
That's true , thanks for bringing that up. I went through an experience with my daughter when she was 16 and they thought she was bipolar because she has the mood swings, but she isn't. I forgot about the lithium level. Mindi ~KRISTINA~Bi-Polar Hello a Hun, I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in here about being Bi-Polar. It is VERY possible that you can have Bi-Polar and never show any symptoms. It is discovered by a simple blood test checking your Lithium Levels. If it is low then you are Bi-Polar and you are usually perscribed Lithium to supplement. I am Bi-Polar however I can't take the Lithium and do any good because if I take 2 my levels are still low and if I take 3 as percribed I am a total Zombie! There are 2 other very bad side affects I can't handle 1 it makes you shake especially hands, the other is you gain a LOT of weight. At least anyone I EVER knew that took it had these affects same as I did. When I was taking it and I was shaking so bad that is what got me approved for my Disability SSI. The Lawyer could show just cause why I couldn't even do sedentary work. However I stopped taking the Lithium and I came up for review this year and I was terrified I would loose my benifiets however I have gotten so much worse in the years I have been drawing and they saw my Dr.'s report they approved me for another 3 years! I could tell you horror stories from when I first started taking Lithium. BUT POINT BEING you may be Bi-Polar and never know it without a Lithium blood level test and it is pretty standard for them to run if doing big workups!
