Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I've been really quiet over the last couple of months. I recently went to TCI to find out why I was having icp problems, as well as major fog. I had a bit of shunt tubing in my abdomen and Dr. B decided to remove it. I have had to have awake intubation since 2000. The anesthetist came into the OR and had me open my mouth so she could see what kind of opening I would have. She had seen where I had minimal clearance. I told her I didn't want to remember anything, and she said that would happen. She also said they had a new technique for intubation, and she put me out just as Dr. Nardi (chief of anesthesia) was walking in. I don't remember anything, my mouth wasn't sore when I woke If you have a craniocervical fusion and you need surgery at LIJ, check to see if you can have the new intubation.
