Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Thanks for everyone's responses. I do have more questions even after doing research. The one thing I can't seem to find on the internet and I'm impatient to wait for my appt to ask my NS is the procedure to insert the lumbar shunt. Does someone have a good link or am I missing a link that we already have? I could be. I try and look and then either end up with a headache or nausea so it's hard sometimes. What is the procedure like? I'm sure there are different types. He is talking about a lumbar shunt inserted at the lumbar region not the brain area. Sorry, having symptoms today so forming words is difficult this morning. We are having a storm which for me never helps. Is it a long procedure? One question I do have that maybe can be answered is if it's done on the East Coast at sea level and I return to the mountains (5200 ft) would it need to be adjusted for that when inserted? Oh boy, guess I have quite the list of questions. . . Take care, Wyoming
