Guest guest
Hi, my name is Tracey. I am 44 years old and was diagnosed in 2005 with congenital ACM1. I had not had any symptoms growing up, but as an adult started to show signs. All the doctors I went to pretty much told me it was all in my head, I finally insisted on an mri after 5 years of looking. The doctor I had at the time told me " Fine. But when it comes back, I want you to see a therapist. " So I told her " Fine. If it comes back and there is nothing there I will. " A few days later....I get a message on my answering machine from her nurse. " We have made an appointment for you with a neurosurgeon. You have a congenital abnormality. " I fired that doctor. So if you think about it all those doctors were right. It really was all in my head... Thanks for listening, Tracey Fox
