Questions- possible increase spinal pressure/ EDS

Hi Guys,

I recently had an LP and had slightly increased spinal pressure and some spinal

fluid removed. I immediately felt better and symptoms of headache,neck

pain,shoulder pain, and even may brain fog left me post LP and removal of fluid.

My walk/gait even improved! For that evening, I felt so great!! Unfortunately,

I did develop a spinal headache the next day:( but I did feel great for that

time and for awhile once that headache went away.

I was also most positive for at least hypermobility and probable EDS and my

bones were not good on the CT and so back on prescription Vit D. Oh yes, there

is the possible fusion still in my future as my C1/C2 is instable but what is

causing what symptoms is the trick at this point.

Can anyone here tell me if they have experience with lumbar shunts? It is a

possible plan of care in my near future and I'm not very familiar with them. Of

course, my NS and I have another appt coming up to discuss all of my options but

just trying to formulate questions and do research.
