Guest guest
Dianne, I guess a hammer had to hit me in the head to realize how our freedoms are deteriorating. It seems so obvious where the pressure is coming from, to get the FDA to act so ugly. A high school drop out could figure it out. But perhaps it is the hgher officials who deal in favors, don't care to notice. I was not aware that congress and the senate cannot be investigated for insider trading on wall street, wahoo, that opens the door to riches for them, without intervention. For what possibly reason would this be needed except personal protection from prosecution because they took advantage of insider tips. Guest guest
Weighing in - though I do not have proper links to support this. My understanding is that this all goes back to international Trade Agreements signed in the name of " harmonization " having to do with NAFTA. There is some deadline or other re: all Trade Partners having the SAME policies in line for " supplements " and whatever else they determine. I will try to find the ONE org. I know of and post it here. We all need to mount a massive protest to this ridiculousness. No need to be paranoid - oh no, it's a fact: Big Pharma, running out of toxic chemical ideas, wants control over our plants. Our plants/our beings... however want none of this crap - Monsanto engineering comes to mind- It is going to take a mighty effort; but we must not give in to this Global corporate attempt to take our plants and all other " alternative " medicines from us... All Health Food stores should have Petitions - perhaps this would be a constructive mutual effort we could take, community by community - just one small step at a time, to keep the Evil Empire of Corporate Greed at bay... More on this at another time. Keep the Faith. > Dianne, I guess a hammer had to hit me in the head to realize how our > freedoms are deteriorating. Guest guest
Reading this reminds me of a lot of other things that weigh on my mind lately, about the way the world is run, peoples beliefs, indoctrinations, availability of truth in media (lol) and good nutritious food. I'm also very pro P2P/Libertarian (like BitCoin, Torrents etc), and the reason is because basically everything on the planet is free, because it's powered by the Sun (food, oil, D3, electricity, weather etc). We have this notion that everything is controlled by money, and as long as we believe that we ourselved won't be free. How about having a P2P distribution of nutraceuticals? The basis for that thinking being there is no target that they can take down. How about Open Source software? It's people just cooperating, usually without the involvement of money. With anything electronic it's a lot easier to distribute, but it could be done with tangibles as well. It would in classical thinking be extremely inefficient, but that thinking is based on efficiency of our monetary/control system. Nature isn't efficient by that yard stick, but then Nature knows there is absolute abundance, that there is no shortage of anything in an absolute sense. If it takes 100Kw to grow a lettuce to make part of a salad, in Natures way that's just fine. If you have to work for CorpGov and get money, pay taxes, put oil in the truck that delivers it to BigSuperMarket corp, pay their profit/tax/slippage, then that 100Kw lettuce wouldn't be viable. Random rant, because I'm feeling the earth changing, and I need some answers... and a plan. > > Weighing in - though I do not have proper links to support this. > My understanding is that this all goes back to international Trade > Agreements signed in the name of " harmonization " having to do with NAFTA. > There is some deadline or other re: all Trade Partners having the SAME > policies in line for " supplements " and whatever else they determine. > I will try to find the ONE org.
