Guest guest
Yeah but I have a uterus. And my problem was heavy bleeding before I started any hormone therapy. So I have to be careful not go too high on the E. I think 4 mg may be my lucky number. Well, maybe do your 4mgs. spread out and see how it goes???? Also I'd talk to my Dr. about that 1/2 gn thyroid......may not be enough???
Guest guest
It probably depends on age. If you are still cycling normally, adding a little E probably won't hurt. If you aren't still cycling, E and no P = hyperplasia. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of Maybe some of us DON'T need P!!! Could it be? Guest guest
Hi , sorry 'bout that, I didn't know. I too, am having problems again, with "P-symptoms", although I'm not taking any P and haven't for 4.5 months now! But I can tell that it's "P-time" - Lol, hope no toddler is around - i.e."P-phase" inspite of a total absence of periods, because there are, one fine day...help!!!...- bouts of 'immanent' incontinence, after I had just figured this feature was gone from my life... Also, just these last few days as the scars of the former skin lesions from hormone overloaded creams were fading away, I'm getting new bumps all over my back, some around my neck, itching like hell. So I'm leading a 'double life', with doing my stay-home-(work!)-life while treating the bumps and scars rotating with iodine, desitin, aloe-gel, witch hazel, rubbing alcohol and my own saliva every hour, hoping...and afraid to even shower. And it eats up most of my energy which had become finally "enough" and in balance....(one illusion after another, right?) Happier days to all of us! Charlotte P.S. Has anyone had one of those allergy tests from "yorkallergyusa" done where they do 113 tests from just one sample of your saliva (results within 4-6 weeks (!) via the UK - for $ 499 plus postage (!?). Re: Not So "Good Morning" (P problems again) Oh I have gone off P!! I've had periods of non-P use after Wiley that were weeks long. I think I stopped for 2 months and continued E the whole time. My doctor went nuts when he found out. Also, on Chasteberry (Vitex), I started itching all over my body after taking one capsule. Forget it. I can't use it. The latest trial of P was 20 mg cream and I'm crippled now. I had to get a shot in my back yesterday to calm down my spasms!!! What the hell??? > > > Am I crazy? Guest guest
How much is "a little E?" I was using "a little E" and got hyperplasia. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of You got that right . There is no way I'm taking something that is going to cripple me. Forget it! And Val, when we stop cycling, this means we have no P OR E so what's the difference if I add a little E. Obviously, I don't have enough E if I'm hot flashing so that's one indication. Guest guest
I don't know. What did your doc say? Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of I got hyperplasia when I was taking NOTHING. I was just going into menopause so what on earth was causing the hyperplasia??
Guest guest
I have the typical P symptoms as described by Vliet and others. I would feel fine without it but hyperplasia is a problem. If I want to use E, there is no choice but to use P. It is a trade-off; a cost-benefit analysis for me. P costs me less than E benefits me. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of astrodianaI am having a very hard time understanding WHY, if a woman needs P, she doesn't do well on it. It seems there has to be more going on here, but I have not looked into it. I am not trying to be argumentative, but in my own experience, I have found that I have don't need. To take something that would make me sick - I don't think I could do it. This is putting science over what your body is never done well on anything I didn't need, no matter how good it was supposed to be for a person. I feel our bodies tell us what we do or telling you, which for me, doesn't work.
Guest guest
Well, I got hyperplasia on 1.5 mg transdermal. Val -----Original Message----- From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of " Little E " meaning low dose E. Up to 2 mg a day. > How much is " a little E?
