Guest guest
Have been diagnoned with Transverse Myelitis (similar to MS, but not as bad). Neurologist is treating me with Imuran (immunosuppressant) and plasma exchange. Results not good, Dr. says it takes many months for the Imuran to kick in, but meanwhile my condition is getting worse. Would like to try LDN, but don't want to risk losing possible eventual benefits of the Imuran. Should I try the LDN while continuing the Imuran to see what happens? Would any benefits of LDN be suppressed by the Imuran, and vice-versa? If some benefits are apparent from LDN, then I would consider dropping the Imuran. Would be like trying to drive the Indy 500 with one foot pressing the brake and the other foot pressing the accelerator all at the same time. Avoid all immune system suppressants while on LDN if you want LDN to work properly.
