Guest guest
Never read Noel Batten's book but I agree with Larry. I went to a chiro that practices the NUCCA method of upper cervical subluxation. It is a very gentle maneuver of the Atlas in my neck. I find when I have maore than normal difficulty walking and my hips hurt.....I need an adjustment.( My one leg gets shorter and I can barely walk at all) After my adjustment, I usually walk out with my usual limp as compared to crawling in with a walker in pain. I now know my body signs and go only when I need to. Usually every 6 weeks. When your spine is crooked, the nerves can't send the signals straight......makes sense, no? Guest guest
I'll try to make it on topic. I haven't even heard of Noel Batten, but I've been going to chiropractors since 1989. They've helped me through all my exacerbations. In 1998 they did suggest I go to a neuro, but we figured out the problem and I didn't go. In 2002 they suggested again and that time I went and got DX'd rather quickly. They've been helping me through all my issues, since 1989, since the DX, since starting LDN. Matter of fact, I did not tell my chiro that I got my script and started taking LDN. He knew I wanted to, but I wasn't there for the weeks before I started, got the script and saw my neuro. My first visit after starting, the chiro asked me if I did something different, or if I Noticed any changes. I asked him why and he said adjusting me felt and seemed different some how. Then I told him I had started taking the LDN and he said that MUST have been IT. We never figured out what the IT was, but he noticed a change. He knew something was up. With my chiros, in each of my exacerbations, we had found 'cause', the trigger, and we worked on the cause. We had no idea MS was behind and adding to each of the problems. Well, now we know and now they're that much more aware of what to look for in other patients, too. [low dose naltrexone] Noel Batten's Book Hi Everyone,I'm interested to find out if anyone has read Noel Batten's Book, "Multiple Sclerosis, the Biggest Medical Mistake". He is 52 and was diagnosed at the age of 14. He feels that having your body reajusted by a chiropractor can help us with many of our symptoms? His website is very interesting, but before I buy the book was wondering if anyone hear has read it. Since this is off topic, you can respond to my personal e-mal at lbaden@.... Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Guest guest
Hi , I came across his website one day. My personal opinion is that I wouldn't waste my money. I can't see how, say, optic neuritis would be a result of a badly aligned spine. Actually his site made me very angry.
