My heart breaks reading these posts about the horrible care received after surgery when you are your most vulnerable. I am so sorry you experienced that. Take heart.It isn't all that way.I have never received such awesome care in my life as what I received at my hospital. From check in to check out. I told the head nurse before I left that she didn't have nurses; she had Angels. I never wanted for a thing. In fact, the " angels " kept telling me to call them. It was never a bother to come to my room and the floor was full. On my follow up, we stopped in to offer our gifts of appreciation and told them again how wonderful they were to all of us; not just to me.My daughter and husband were made comfortable and welcomed. This hospital is 3 hours from our home but we have made it " ours. " I can't take away the pain that you were caused. If I could; I would. What I can do is tell you how much I care and that there are good, competent,compasssionate nurses. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope your day will be pain free.
