Distilled water is best as it is the most pure, free of all

minerals and other impurities. It does not have to be

sterile water but since distilled is boiled in the process

of making it you have no worries about contamination by

bacteria.

I use regular water from the tap. I'm not sure if you can use distilled water

but you probably can. The water is not an active ingredient of the mixture; it

just enables you to siphon out a dose.
