Guest guest
It seems with all the medicines I have brought him and leashes nothing has has worked. Chief can't walk at all now. His two back legs just collapse underneath him.I have to carry him from his bedroom to the lounge room...which is really hard for me. I got the Help'em up Harness a few days ago. The back part of the harness after a few days must have been pressing on a gland or something because his whole left leg swelled up with fluid. I took the rear part of the harness off and the next day his swelling went down. I'm now looking at a cart or doggy wheelchair for chief. Chief is still in good spirits, still happy and sleeps alot. He must be wondering why he can't get up and do the things he used to anymore? He has learnt to bark (even with his old dog quite bark) when he wants to be moved or need some water or attention lol :-) I haven't noticed any healing effects of the ORMUS yet on Chief or myself. I won't be trying the LDN as the Degenerative Mylopepathy Group has had no success with it...This is the response from a Post on LDN that I put on the degenerative myelopathy Yahoo group. Re: [degenerativemyelopathylist] Anyone tried LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone)? " We have had people try it and the general consenus seemed to be that while the dog showed an intitial improvement, they then seemed to go downhill faster. At least that happened with one dog for sure. It is not something that is recommended so we do not encourage discussion on it, since it could actually be harmful. " Gayle, Eros-in-spirit, Libby, and Balin So I have spent alot of money for no Gain for me or Chief. This is what had happen when I tried to help my mum and nothing has worked for my Chronic fatigue or Asthma. So once Someone in my family gets sick there is no cure! No matter how hard I try!
