I am reading in amazement about all the people who gained weight after

surgery. I lost about 15 pounds after surgery and kept it off for about four

years and then because I was tired and working drank Pepsi, ate cookies,

etc., for energy. Gradually gained it all back, but I'm almost 54, so I

guess that's going to happen.

I was unable to eat very much for about six weeks after surgery due to

nausea. I think I have problems with anesthesia.

While a lot of my muscles get tired, I am able to walk quite a bit without

difficulty. My calf muscles are good, but my upper leg muscles are very

poor. Doctors and PT state I am not weak, so they must fatigue very, very,

very easily.
