Guest guest
Hey group, I just want to thank everyone for their input and personal experiences. I was discharged today by my " so called " doctor. I wanted to stay one more night but my doctor told the nurse to discharge me. The GI doctor on call (not the one I see) came in and basically told me oh it looks like IBS we can't do anything for you, there is no cure you have to deal with it and just make an appointment with your regular GI doctor (which the on call doctor works with). So now I have an appointment on Monday around 1 pm. But they did take blood work to test for celiac disease. I honestly think I might have this disease because of the foods that do give me more discomfort are pastas, and things with wheat in them. The on call doctor said that I might need another endoscopy and if that doesn't show then they might have to do exploratory surgery. Well I will let you go and I will keep in touch with the group. Hugs and blessings, P Corpus Christi, Tx
Guest guest
- out of curiousity do you know what your red blood cell count is? Is your pain on the left side, radiating to the back? Beth
