Guest guest
Thiago your not crazy at all. I also feel the same way a lot were the pain moves from one joint to another over a period of days . some times its my hip or foot more then any thing other then later it will be say my arm or shoulder even my collar bone joints. Like you even when I went into remission I was never fully pain free but the pain I had then was easy to control with nothing more then aspirin or the likes. now that my stills is active again it takes some thing stronger to help keep it down at times besides my normal every day meds. so like I said your not crazy but then coming from a crazy redneck you may want to also get another opinion on that LOL. Guest guest
Hi Thiago, You are definitely not alone. I have the same problem. My doctor at first thought I was crazy, because I would complain with one side and then go back two weeks later and complain about the other. I keep telling my husband that it feels like my body has a short circuit and I just never know what the pain of the day is going to be. Hope you feel better soon! Guest guest
Hi. I've been diagnosed for three months. All of my symptoms such as itchiness, irritated eyes and skin, cannot walk, lose of apetite, insomnia, sore throat, rash,...etc have gone away. However, I still feel pain in joints. And like you, as soon as I succeed in ridding on joint of pain, another grabs a hold of that pain. It is min boggling and frustrating. Right now my left knee and wrist hurt so much I've been in bed all day. How does one feel when they are done flaring? How do you know when your flare is over or when its about to start? thanks > > What I say may sound stupid or just a wrong impression about what I feel, but already happened a few times to me, and it happened again this last week. > As I said here in the group, I still feel pain in the leg and shoulder, I feel pain every day, they have improved but I still feel pain. The strange thing is that I realize that when I improve foot pain, hip or shoulder hurt more, or the contrary, it is difficult to explain, it's as if I had a quota of pain I have that feeling, that keeps changing place . In the last 15 days, the body part that I felt more pain was my foot, then he has improved and at the same time I realized that the hip and shoulder started hurting stronger, without reason, and two days ago the hips stopped hurting , and leg and shoulder are very sore joints. I'm sure I'm not crazy, Ahahahah, but frankly that's what I feel. I always feel pain in some part of the body, like I said, as if there is an amount of pain, you understand? I hope to read some reply or comment ... > hugs to all > Thiago >
Guest guest
thank you marty that was helpful. I find myself sleeping every free moment. Or feeling really tired at a dinner party and splitting leaving all of my friends wondering if I'll be allright. I don't care if others don't understand. To me, when my body starts to tell me its tired...I do anything I can to get home! I don't want to be stuck in the streets with a knee hurting so bad I can't walk and I really don't want my disease to revert back to the way it was in June. If this is the worst flair I feel lucky because it was caught within the first few weeks. I couldn't imagine continuing the way i was. I was getting so frustrated with the doctors feeding me antibiotics...I feel lucky to feel this much better even though I am in constant pain and do a lot less these days. > > Pamela > For me when ending a flair or starting one its about the same as what your > feeling now only with less pain and problems . ending they for my self have > gotten easier and and also less painful and starting on they tend to get > stronger and more painful . Guest guest
lol I've been fired from one job...am now collecting unemployment. I was glad to have found a part time job however, on Fri I was supposed to be at work at 10 a. I couldn't for the life of me fall asleep at 5 a. i finally blasted the a/c and tried again. I didn't wake up till 11:30! My boss could not understand for the life of him so lets see if I keep that job. I have a class Sat morn at 8:30 a. I have missed two weeks in a row now my professor won't answer my emails. Sooo I guess I can't handle the mornings anymore!! Friday morning I couldn't even put any weight on my knees till the evening...people don't understand that though. If I can't get out of bed how am I going to walk down the subway steps and to the school? Plus I live on the third floor! I guess I have to adjust and now I know I can't make any commitments in the morning lol > > Pamela > your welcome . as a side not for me not having some pain every day I would not > know what to do and doing a lot less well that's were I still get frustrated as > I do not believe I was cut out for this retired life ever let alone to start > living it at 42LOL Now ten years down the road its still the same some days > better then others and some not but the best part is once I leaned to live with > stills ( if one can really live with it that is) I do better but I also have > been known not to go to bed tell very late or super early in the morning and > then to I have also been known to sleep like a teenager 12 hours or more. it all > is what or how my body tells me how its going to be for the most part and then > to I believe my mix of meds is working for me not as well as I wish but a sight > better then nothing at all that I know so as I said hang in there the first run > in with stills is the hardest for most as in pain and trying to figure out whats > what > > hugs > > The Redneck > Marty G. > Be careful about reading health books.
