a plea from me to all Still's sufferers

Gang,

With all my heart and everything that I am, please, please, fill out and return

your research questionnaires to today!  It is vital to ALL of us, vital

to our families, vital to those who have yet to be diagnosed that be

able to get this done!

 

My story?  It took 8 years and 11 different doctors to diagnose me.  8 years of

thinking I was crazy.  8 years of unnecessary suffering.  8 years of thinking I

was going to die of some unknown illness.  8 years of pain and frustration for

me and those that love me.  Also, what about our family members?  What if

research begins to show a connection genetically?  Please think about these

things. What about the grand kids, their kids, their kids, etc...

 

I am begging all of you who committed to this, do it today.  It took me 7 or 8

minutes to do it and email it back to her.  I promise it's not hard.  Don't let

others suffer like we have!  It is amazing that is able to do this with

everything she has going on.  Let's put her medical expertise to wonderful use

here! 

 

I know it's hard for us all.  I am currently dealing with a flare, my husband

has carcinoid cancer and has been hospitalized 8 times just this year and my

daughter and grandchild were in a horrible rollover accident this past week. 

But I still filled it out.  I swear, it takes just a few minutes of your time. 

If you need help, is more than willing to answer questions, she is

passionate about this.

 

I am not saying that not everyone cares.  Just trying to point out that it is

opportunities like this that our group has dreamed of for years.  This MUST

happen!  For our sakes, our families and all the future humans in this world

suffering from this awful Dragon we call Still's.  We are such a small group,

but together, we can get this done!  It takes a little bit from all of us to

make this happen.

 

Please, stop what you are doing right now and fill it out. Send it back as soon

as you're done.  And know that, at the end of today, that you will have been an

intregal part in the research and study of Still's Disease.  The only way to

beat this dragon is with KNOWLEDGE.  That is OUR power.
