MS associated pain - PLEASE HELP

Hello to all, Can anyone tell me what they have used, or know of what others have used, to successfully mitigate the horrible pain and aches associated with MS? I have heard of people trying L-Phenylanaline since it is an analgesic, but don't know how good this is, or if there is anyhting else (not narcotic meds or anything of that nature, I mean) that has been helpful for others.
