Guest guest
This is very interesting. My last MRI showed a small chronic infarct. When you break it down it basically means there is an area in my brain that has lost blood flow to it. I asked Dr. H where it was and what his thoughts on it were. When he found it he said " that's what a stroke looks like " . Yikes, I thought then he added that he didn't believe that is what it was because of the location. It appears to be in the right cerebullar tonsil area. He believes it is damage from when they cauterized the tonsils during decompression surgery. However, my memory, focus, and confusion continues to decline. Not to mention that the report stated it was chronic which would lead me to believe that they saw it on my previous MRI which was done before my surgery. I don't have copies of all my records yet so I'll have to look into it more once I get them. Or maybe it is from a stroke, as I do have episodes that have some symptoms of a stroke. So it's one thing at a time and hoping for the best. Debbie Sent from my iPhone
