I was chatting with the receptionist and she said hold on and next thing I know, Dr. Jace was on the line. I told him you and referred me. So, if you're seeing him at 10:00 am, you can eat for the last time at 4:00 am. That worked for me because I was up then but may not work for you. But, if hunger really kills you, you could wake up at 3:30 am just to eat something and then go back to sleep. They do not use grapefruit juice. The glucose test is a finger prick test. The only substance they gave me to eat or drink was a chocolate whey protrein drink at some point and then they do some other tests after that.
