Guest guest
I agree, it's so hard to explain to any doctor about ACM's much less an ER doc! I'm really sorry your going through this! My husband, boyfriend at the time, would be so good at making a game out of it and would crawl on the floor with me! We would have our picnic meals on the family room floor and ect. I know first hand just how scary and hard it is when all your symptoms are flaring up along with the pain. And I'm sorry we can not give real help with your situation but chin up! Hopefully soon u will have your apt. with the right doctors and they might be able to help u in some way! My husband and I know right now if I push my body and brain to far, I'll end up sleeping for a whole day and be weak the next. Is it worth it???? That's the personal decision you are going to need to make! When your sick and your symptoms are high, it's your bodies way of saying it needs help! Try to listen to it and keep a daily log of activities. That's how we caught onto a few things while brain storming with Dr. Kula and Dr.B @ TCI. I hope this helps in some way! Bea Having my 5th surgery Jan 12! Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Re: The doctor wants me to go to the ER to be evaluated but... I will say that the ER where I live is the rudest of all and lack even basic skill sets I feel you. When I my heart had stoped because of CM SCT I went thirty miles further to the teaching hospital where even thoug it took seveal hours a Dr. who knew about CM looked at me and gave me some good advice and even said it stoped because of my CM. I don't do what I was doing that day any more and I know you probaly do not have a choice but don't let them stop you from much needed atention. We all want to live long lives and with proper care we can.Try asking them if anyone is neuro or such when you go you might get lucky!
