Guest guest
There's been some discussion about glyconutrients lately and I simply want to pass on to everyone the information Dr. Lawrence has been kind enough to send to me. He believe that Ambrotose, the Mannatech product, contains the glyconutrients needed by people with MS, however, he also believes there's a less expensive way to get them by taking kelp, aloe vera, and glucosamine/chondroiton OR shark cartilage. Here are the amounts: kelp: four tablets each day (in the UK they come in 100 mg tablets) aloe vera, 15 mls twice daily shark cartilage 500 to 1000 mg twice daily glucosamine/chondroiton in a combined tablet (500 mg, 400 mg respectively)--at least four tablets per day The glyconutrients can all be started at the same time. If you are not taking the basic antioxidants, you should do that first. They include selenium (200 mcg); vitamin E (400 units); vitamin C (1000 mg) and beta carotene (15 mg). For spasticity he recommends calcium, magnesium, GABA and MSM.
