Guest guest
Dad is aggressive and care-resistant. He's been tested over and over again for infections, and it's not that. I think it's that he's afraid and can't cope with the fear and the loss of control. Another large factor is that he's embarrassed about having to wear depends and have people clean him up. I don't think this is going to stop . . . I think it's just something we have to deal with and the NH staff seem to be able to cope with him by just leaving him be and coming back when he's calmed down. Diane You must know that when there is aggressiveness, it usuallly is because there is a medical problem of something that is bothering them. The doctor can not put them in a nursing home unless you want to.
