Guest guest
According to the Dialectical therapy work book, the wise mind resides within the stomach region. It is similar to that of intuition and the " gut " feeling you get when you have a strong feeling about something. According to research there is a vast web of nerves residing within the stomach region and is known as the enteric brain. Is anybody familiar with this notion and can someone share some experiences with it? I've noticed that when I feel extremely anxious or depressed I have a pain in my stomach region, perhaps because I am ignoring my gut feelings, and trying to surpress them?
