I'm sure everyone will tell you it varies greatly in all CHARGErs based

on the involvement of their disabilities.

Caitlyn was critically ill for most of her 1st year, moderately ill for

most of her second so take this into account. And she has had severe

sensory integration problems which also includes balance (vestibular)

and body position (proprioceptive) disorders.

But here goes: She rolled over at 11 mos. Sat up alone at 12 mos.

Crawled at 14 mos. and walked at 22 mos. She turned 3 in July and still

cannot run. She crawls up the stairs and slides down on her bum but

needs MUCH redirection to do these things. She walks like a beginner,

poor balance and low tone are major problems.

I strongly recommend occupational therapy with sensory integration

therapy started immediately to give your child the best opportunity to

reach motor milestones earlier rather than later.
