I had wrote Thursday that I was going to try to get Saleah off the pump at night and guess what? IT'S WORKING... She has not had ANY tube feedings (day or night) since Thursday. She is doing great. She is drinking between 2 and 4 oz. at a time now. The 2 oz. is very rare now, she likes the taste and wants more more more... I didn't think it would happen this quickly. The doctors don't know yet that she's off the pump at night. I'll call them tomorrow and let them know what we're doing. I also have gotten the authorization for audiology services. So I'm calling tomorrow to make that appt. so that we can get going on the hearing aids if necessary (which I'm sure is a BIG possibility). And we got the o.k. to get PT started so that we can work on getting those muscles strengthened. She's actually starting to try to lift her head when I have her up on my shoulder. She's very nosey and doesn't want to miss anything. We also go to the eye doc tomorrow and find out what's going on and see if we're going to fit her for glasses yet. So needless to say tomorrow's another busy day. I just had a minute and wanted to let you all know what was going on with Saleah's eating... Kim mom to Devin 7 3/4 yrs. and Saleah 5 mo.
