Guest guest
Thanks for answering my question. I will look for them (salonpas) next time i am at Walmart. I know what you mean about being sensitive to stuff. My skin has become so much more sensitive since I was dx'd with Fibro. I have to be careful, too. Guest guest
Joyce, Did you get your computer fixed? I know you are out of town again, but I was just wondering. I'm so behind on emails it's not fair, but it's b/c I try to respond to so many of them *HUGS* Tammi Hi Tammi, I just got home tonite....tuesday about 7 p.m. Am still have puter trouble but think it is the cable. It was AT & T and they merged with Comcast and Comcast goes down several times a day so here I am using my phone line with my AOL which i kept because I have so many friends on it. It is a lot slower but at least I am not getting booted every 10 minutes. Comcast says the outages are because they are doing maintenance. I give them the rest of September and if service had not improved by then I am going to look into DSL. I ended up staying with my friend longer than I had planned. We got his shoulder to loosen up with Ben Gay, massages and a moist heating pad but then on monday morning I could not get him to wake up. His blood sugar was down to 24. Usually his son and I can bring him around enought to get glucose gel down him but this time he could not swallow so we called the paramedics. They had trouble getting the iv in and had blood all over the place.....sighhhhhhh but finally got it going and brought him back. He would not consent to go to the hospital because there was a social worker coming at 3:30 in the afternoon in regards to a his son's best friend that he won custody of back in July. Most of the boy's family died within the past year and he wanted to live with Ben and his son. They went to court and won so he does not want anything to screw up the last hearing that is on Oct. 2nd. Anyway to make a long story short. I changed his sheets and got him back in bed after I got him to eat then I cleaned house while he slept. Got him up in time to shower before the lady got there. He was dead tired from the ordeal but able to function o.k. The meeting went well and we all collasped after she left. Whew !! Needless to say I was in major pain from overdoing it and could hardly move but survived and am not feeling too bad today and he is doing o.k. Thank God for guardian angels that watch over him. With blood sugar that low most people would have gone into a coma. Hopefully there will be no more crises for awhile. I need a few days break at least. I do feel, however, that God caused our paths to cross so that I could be of help to him and his sons and He will bless me for my efforts. Thanks for asking about my puter. I been reading all posts.....just haven't had time to answer many indivually. Warm hugs, Joyce
