hello everyone,

My name is michelle I am here lookin for help for my son he is 5 years old and

has Stills I dont know anything about stills. even though I am a pediactric

nurse I have never heard of Stills. my baby started having crazy fevers and

rashes at his 5th bithday party (june of this year)... I had to take him and run

out on all his guest because he spiked a fever of 103 out of nowhere! so we were

told oh its just a viral infection . So after constant motrin and tylenol back

to back for 2 weeks to keep pain and fever at bay I insisted that somthing else

was wrong. so doc rolled his eyes and gave him antibiotic, i gave hime ever dose

then 8 hours after last dose..... fever spiked so I tokk him to E.R they said no

no he has bacterial infection so they gave him another round of antibiotic only

this time stronger a broad spectrum antibiotic however nothing ever stopped the

horrible unexplainable feet pain so I ket pushing and finally 2 weeks ago they

diagnosed him with JRA and the new Dr. wanted to check on his heart just as a

precaution, she ordered 17 blood tests 2 EKGs and 2 chest Xrays now he has

borderline ekgs and pleuritis! he is 5 years old! 5...... I dont know how to

help him he takes iron for his sever aniemia and motrin thats it he is 5 years

old and suffers horribly. anyone have suggestions on how to help my baby? maby

some clues on what to expect? We would surely appreciate any and all input from

everyone it feels like we are we are running blind.

Thank you so much for listening to me vent

Jordan & his mommy
