Hi Maree, I am so sorry for your troubles.I cannot believe how many things you

are dealing with and yet you sound hopeful. As far as pain goes, I don't think

any of us who are not in remission are not in pain!I would ask Rene's doctor for

something you can give her on a regular basis if she is showing signs of her

Stills being active. Many of us get a sore throat when we are going into a flare

and I don't know anyone elses level of pain from it,but mine is definately a 10!

That would also cause her not to want to eat.If she is on steroids, she will be

very hungery. Is she getting fevers every day at about the same time? She probably

has joint pain when they swell.I myself take something for pain every four

hours,so I can control my pain and it doesn't have a chance to get really

bad.The lovely rash is a mystery, sometimes mine itches and sometimes it hurts

and sometimes I don't feel it at all.Everyone is different.I am so sorry you had

to find us,but glad you did.You can write to us about anything you don't

understand or just to vent!We have some mighty big shoulders in this Stills

family and we are a wealth of information. You must ask your doctor before trying

any meds or really anything that is suggested before giving it to ' We

don't care what you ask,no question is a bad one.Again, welcome,come in sit a

while and we'll talk!

love Elly

Hi Elly,

Thank you so much for your response! Your description of your symptoms was

very helpful. is hoarse sometimes which I think must be a sore throat.

She has just started treatment with Pred and Methotrexate as well as a few

others that haven't had time to really kick in yet. She looks so unwell to

me. I can't wait for everything to start working and to find the right doses

for her. It is almost impossible since she can't say when something is not

hurting so much or if something is hurting more . I'm sure we'll get there

but it's so hard to watch your child suffer. Thank you for your welcome...
