Guest guest
, I was told that many loose weight as their metabolism normalizes. I asked the same question when I noticed that I was down about 8%. In total, I have seen my weight dip as low as 146 but in general find that I weigh around 8 to 10 lbs less than before LDN. I have been on it for 6 months. I have no need to loose weight and am pleased that the loss has abated. I was told and believe that if one experiences weight loss it is from normalization of the metabolism which typically slows with age. I like that idea, moving toward a normal state. Normally not a problem. One will not continue to loose weight indefinitely. [low dose naltrexone] LDN and weightloss Has anyone experienced weightloss while on LDN? Normally one wouln't mind losing a few pounds, I just don't want to find an underlying problem. LDN has taken all the fluid off my grandma's ankles.

Guest guest
Yep, mine stabalized too. From the 10lbs lost about 3-5lbs came back. I think the endorphin rush also makes some lose the weight along with the diurectic affect. Guest guest
Question: who drinks coffee and/or caffeine products? Anyone coffee/caffeine-free? Guest guest
Hi Larry, I never liked coffee or tea before MS and still don't like it. I may have a cola once a month so I am close to being cafeine free. Marie [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN and weightloss Yep, mine stabalized too. From the 10lbs lost about 3-5lbs came back. Guest guest
When I first went on LDN I lost 31 pounds. Now I have gained 10 pounds back and am pretty stable at that weight. I fluckuate a little at times. I think that is a good weight for me between 130 to 135. Marie [low dose naltrexone] LDN and weightloss Has anyone experienced weightloss while on LDN? Guest guest
> > Yep, that was my point. I don't think it's the LDN that's " acting " like a diuretic. It just orchestrates your immune system, caffeine & coffee " act " (well, ARE) like a diuretic and since your metabolism should be faster than before, there ya go. ========= I haven't lost an ounce on LDN nor has my mom. My metabolism is terrible and my mom's is great. My grandma lost 10 pounds on LDN and has lost all the fluid on her swollen ankles ever since going on LDN. Her high blood pressure has reduced some since going on LDN also. So LDN is doing something to pull fluid off. I don't think it's just a coincidence that my grandma's many years of swollen ankles have just mysteriously gone down to normal without help nor her high blood pressure. LDN is pulling fluid off my grandma. I think the fluid being pulled off has helped lower her BP.
