LDN & Side Effects???

Hello all,

I'm from Sydney Australia & have recently been prescribed LDN 3mg for my

Irritable Bowel

Syndrome, CFS, Food Intolerances etc. I have been taking it for about 4 weeks

now,

although only once every second night on average (why? becuase I've been

forgetting to

take it every 2nd day or so - brain fog etc). This may be impairing the full

benefits I

should be getting from the drug. I'm not sure, since you are supposed to take it

every

night.

If I am getting a benefit from it, then it is that I'm getting a little less

post nasal drip with

consumption of food, a little more energy & I know seem to be putting on a

little weight -

muscle, not fat (I do a little exercise) - something I've found next to

impossible to do,

probably a little less fatigued after the exercise now too. (Need more time to

evaluate)

Lately though I've been noting some symptoms (side effects???) that may or may

not be

associated with the low dose naltrexone??

These are/maybe:-

1. Inflamation of the rectum (making the passing of stools very difficult &

painfull.)

2. Upper Sinus pain at night

3. Needing less sleep at night

Maybe these symptoms are a result of something else or worsening of my IBS &

nothing to

do with LDN at all??? I would welcome any feedback to my notes.

In any case I will be consulting with my doctor in the next couple of days,

something I

have not done since starting the LDN program.

Kind regards to all.

Ian
